I have many mobility issues and will be having surgery soon. What I have had the most trouble with is getting in and out of the shower. This sliding shower chair is a lifesaver. First it was easy to put together. The instructions are clear and my Dad and I were able to do it with no problems or tools. The base is wide and very secure with anti-sliding caps on each one. The cushion seat is soft and wide enough to fit up to 450 pounds. Really like the swivel seat so you can slide in one way and then twist to face the shower. The arms are adjustable to go up and down for safety. The aluminum frame is lightweight so can be moved in and out of the bathroom for space. To use, just place one end into the tub, sit on it and then slide into the tub. Slides easily and I could do it myself without difficulty. I feel secure sitting in the shower and not like I am going to slide or fall. Easy to clean and good for anyone that has difficulty getting in or out of the tub or shower. I highly recommend it.
The size is basically suitable and the installation is relatively simple. The material and stability are average, and it can provide basic support, but there is no special surprise. It is still OK to use as a temporary or ordinary replacement part. The overall performance is satisfactory.
